With its current 4 ateliers and more than 200 artist craftsmen, who are engaged in continuous research and improvement, Emile Henry offers globally the joy of cooking in the refined French style, via products that stand out by very special qualities: resistance to mechanical shocks (they do not get scratched nor chip easily, allowing the use of sharp utensils in the cookware), thermal resistance (they can be transferred directly from refrigerator into hot oven), resistance to high temperatures (up to 270°C for ovenware products and up to 500°C for BBQ® ceramic products), elegant look (in a variety of colors that do not fade away in time), calculated dimensions, as well as shapes specially designed for efficient cooking and for optimizing the taste of food.
Given to how ceramic is made, by two-stage firing – at 900°C and, then, at 1150°C, the Emile Henry products are suitable not only for all types of cooking, but are also 100% safe for storing food (they do not contain harmful metals), can be easily washed by hand or in the dishwasher and can be successfully used in the microwave.
The Emil Henry products, available in 8 carefully chosen colors - Clay, Brick, Oak, Flour, Burgundy, Charcoal, Blue Flame, Flint, Provence Yellow and Mediterranean Blue, which resemble either the raw material that the products are made of or the wine-growing area where the company is located, set a high quality standard that promotes "the meaning and pleasure of the essentials."
