The Lava cookware can be used for all sorts of recipes such as soups, steaks, desserts, cakes, quiche or bread. Cast iron is suitable for all kinds of cooking techniques. Since heat will be evenly distributed across the entire surface, cast iron cookware are perfect for cooking recipes that require medium temperatures for a long period of time.
The vitreous enamel that fully covers each component, including the edges, is very resistant, but, more importantly, it ensures a high versatility in the use of the products. Thus, the cookware can be used both for cooking and for storing food.

The walls of the saucepan are 4 mm thick and, on the inside, the saucepan is coated with one layer of black enamel that facilitates the formation of a non-stick surface when cooking using grease.
The exterior of the saucepan is enamelled, a feature which, in combination with cast iron, ensures optimal distribution of heat across the entire surface of the saucepan.
The lid is flat and has small protrusions on the inside, thus, ensuring that moisture is kept inside. Thanks to these characteristics, a "rain" effect develops inside the casserole dish which intensifies the flavours and eases the cooking process.
The base of the saucepan has thickness of 5 mm, which makes it possible for Lava cookware to be usable on all types of hobs, including induction hobs.
