From sandblasted and hand-cast aluminum, the AMT Gastroguss pan has a very thick base, of up to 9 mm thickness, which stores more energy, does not overheat easily and keeps its shape at extreme temperature variations.
Each of the 5 layers of which the pan is composed: sandblasted aluminum, hard layer of titanium oxide, anti-corrosion layer and the layer with ceramic particles and non-stick Lotan® layer have a well-defined role in strength, efficiency, utility and higher quality of the pan.
The non-stick Lotan® layer offers all the advantages of a classic non-stick layer, but without containing PFOA (toxic and carcinogenic substance). This non-stick coating is patented by AMT Gastroguss and, therefore, can only be found in this brand's pans. Besides the non-stick properties, which help to easily clean the cookware, the Lotan® layer also has antibacterial effect, contributing in all forms to the food safety and health.
The pan handles are ergonomic and withstand temperatures up to 240°C, allowing foods to be gratinated immediately after they have been fried on the hob, without the need to change the dish.
This product can be cleaned in the dishwasher and can be used on all hobs, except for induction ones.
