Responsibly sourced and produced from FSC-certified sustainable forests, the Ooni premium food-grade charcoal gets burned in small quantities to ensure ultra-low ash and moisture content for efficient combustion. If this level of humidity is maintained, the charcoal provides sufficient heat for cooking in just 15 minutes after ignition.
The solid birch tree, with slow growth, offers a more aromatic higher-density charcoal for an efficient and prolonged burning.
