Founded in 1908 in Belgium, Demeyere has become a reference name over time in the industry producing stainless steel cookware and utensils.
Up to now, Demeyere is the only company in the world focused on the problem of adapting its technologies to develop different utensils for each cooking process: boiling, frying, baking, etc. This adaptation assumes that each of these thermal procedures requires a different technical support in order to achieve the best possible result.
In the late '60s, the company was one of the pioneers who used pure aluminum sandwiches to build cooking pots. At the same time, the company developed SILVINOX© a surface treatment that has no equal in terms of performance until today. But the list of technological innovations is far from stopping here! Demeyere has created the 7-layer material whose thickness adapts to the food preparing process, as well as many other innovations recognized around the world, among which we mention BRINOX®, InductoSeal©, InductoBase® and ControlInduct©.
In the 80s, Demeyere created Triplinduc®, a special combination of 3 alloys applied over the base surface of the cooking dish. This process makes the dish suitable for all cooking methods, including induction (due to the magnetic properties of the materials used), while allowing the heat source to be changed at any time during cooking. Moreover, this procedure ensures a high resistance of cookware to deformation in time, so that they remain flat even after many years of use.
