Install the carbon monoxide alarm in the right place

A carbon monoxide alarm works best when placed on the ceiling, in the same room with the heat source. If there is no heat source in the room, the carbon monoxide alarm should be placed on the wall. Place the CO alarm in central position, at least 30 cm away from the walls and at a distance of 1-3 meters horizontally from the possible source of carbon monoxide. When placing the alarm on the wall, it should be at least 15-80 cm away from the ceiling. The ideal spot to install a carbon monoxide alarm is in the same room as the gas boiler or stove. The alarm can be mounted using several screws.

Test and maintain the device
