Beyond personal preferences, many cooking techniques or recipes require seasoning with salt and freshly ground pepper with a certain grain. For example, in the case of light sauces or mixes of raw vegetables, a fine granulation is recommended, and in the case of steaks or grilled dishes, a coarser granulation. Peugeot now offers the possibility of quick, precise and easy selection between 6 predefined levels of grain, thanks to the patented u'Select system. By simply turning the ring at the base of the grinder, you get the desired granulation instantly and without any risk.

The mechanism of the salt grinders is designed to crush the salt crystals. It is made of stainless steel to resist the corrosion process caused by prolonged exposure to salt.

What kind of salt is recommended?

For the best results, we recommend dry salt, whose crystals do not exceed 4 mm in diameter, such as that extracted from the mine or coarse salt. Do not use salt grinders for grinding pepper or sea salt, its moisture can corrode the mechanism.
