The Karu 12 oven - Ooni brand - offers you multiple fuel options for maximum cooking flexibility. Powered by wood or charcoal, this oven heats up quickly, being ready for operation in just 15 minutes. The pizza oven reaches high temperatures of up to 500°C and bakes authentic stone-baked pizza in just 60 seconds.

The Karu 12 oven is also gas-compatible. To expand your fuel options, you can use the Ooni gas burner which can be purchased separately.

Whatever fuel you may choose, Karu 12 will bake delicious pizzas. The oven preheats quickly and will maintain a constant temperature when you add fuel gradually, to allow for adequate airflow.

The fuel tray maximizes the air flow, resulting in a strong flame, which allows the pizza to be baked quickly. Maximum heat retention is ensured by the stainless steel body insulated with ceramic fiber, by the 15 mm thick cordierite baking stone and by a patented device that keeps the flame going.

Weighing just 12kg, the Ooni Karu 12 offers portability, plus all the power and heat equivalent of a larger wood-powered oven.

Instructions for care:

The Ooni Karu 12 is built to last and can be left outdoors all year round. To be protected from dust and weather elements, use the carry cover specially designed for it.

We recommend storing the Ooni Karu 12 indoors when not in use for long periods of time so as to protect it from adverse weather conditions.

For cleaning, let the oven cool down completely (it may take up to 60 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature) and never expose the hot components to moisture. You can wipe the interior with a dry paper towel, if necessary. When cool, the exterior can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried completely before using a detergent to remove marks or stains.

Please note that the Ooni Karu 12 is not compatible with wood pellets - the Ooni Karu 12 is powered by wood chips, charcoal or gas burner (sold separately).
