Typically, this item is the most frequently used instrument of the manicure kit. The nail file can be used to smoothen the nail surface and to straighten the nail after clipping. Usually, the nail file has a sharp tip, which can be used to clean the nails, and a handle that can be used to push the cuticles towards the nail bed.

Ideally, the nail file is to be positioned on the edge of the nail, at a narrow angle, then, a back-and-forth movement is done, always in the same direction.

This product has an abrasive surface with sapphire crystals.
