On the display, apart from indicators informing on the cooking stage, there is an on/off switch that allows you to quickly turn on/off the rice cooker. 
Moreover, the set also includes a measuring cup to portion rice and a stirring spoon. The inner container can be washed under running water and the body shall be wiped with a damp cloth and then dried.
