All AMT Gastroguss products are made from hand-cast aluminium by skilled craftsmen. Among the advantages of hand-cast aluminium are: longer solidification time, which prevents material stress, homogeneous casting, and fewer air pockets in the material compared to robotic casting.

AMT Gastroguss cookware has a very thick base with up to 9 mm thickness. This stores more energy and does not easily overheat. AMT Gastroguss cookware is also renowned for the fact that the base does not deform over time, even when subjected to extreme temperature variations.

The aluminium underlying Gastroguss products first receives a layer of titanium oxide, followed by a base layer that protects against corrosion. After these base layers, there is a median layer with ceramic particles and the surface non-stick layer called Lotan®.

The Lotan® layer offers all the advantages of a classic non-stick layer, but does so without containing PFOA.

The handles of Gastroguss cookware resist temperatures of up to 240 °C. Thus, you can gratinate food immediately after frying it on the stove, without changing the frying pan. The ergonomic handles of the cookware were developed with the help of the National Culinary Team of Germany.

The product can be washed in the dishwasher and used on all hobs, including induction hobs.
