Baking tray, aluminium, 53 × 33 cm GN 1/1 – AMT Gastroguss

AMT Gastroguss tray with dimensions 53 × 33 cm GN 1/1 made from aluminium, with Lotan® non-stick coating, made in Germany.

Made from cast aluminium with a thickness of up to 3 mm. Among the advantages of hand-cast aluminium are: longer solidification time, which prevents material stress, an even casting, and fewer air pockets in the material compared to mechanized casting.

The aluminium used in Gastroguss products is first sandblasted to increase the adhesive surface area for the subsequent layers. The first layer applied to the tray is titanium oxide, baked at 20,000 °C, making it almost as hard as a diamond. The following layers applied are: the anti-corrosion layer, the middle layer with ceramic particles, and the surface non-stick layer named Lotan®.

This Lotan® non-stick coating can only be found on AMT Gastroguss cookware, and in addition to its non-stick properties that make cleaning easy, it also has antibacterial effects.

The Lotan® non-stick layer provides all the benefits of a traditional non-stick layer but does so without containing PFOA.

Heat is evenly distributed across the surface of the tray, helping you achieve dishes with a crispy crust. You can save up to 20% of time and energy because the cast aluminium surface heats up very quickly. It is scratch-resistant.

It can be washed in the dishwasher.
