The De'Longhi tubeless system reduces to minimum the amount of ground coffee left in the grinder, so that only freshly ground coffee gets used for the brewing of each espresso.

The recipes can be easily customized to enjoy the perfect cup of coffee every time. You can customize the quantity of ground coffee by selecting the aroma intensity, temperature and amount of beverage in the cup. Enjoy an easy interaction thanks to the new intuitive interface of the LCD screen.

COFFEE GRINDING TECHNOLOGY

To obtain a savory coffee, the espresso machine is fitted with a 13-setting built-in coffee grinder to guarantee that the coffee beans are ground as smoothly and evenly as possible and to extract the best aroma.

The coffee grinding level can be adjusted manually, easily, as preferred, depending on the selected type of coffee. The conical, stainless steel grinder is calibrated with 100% accuracy and tested to guarantee that the perfect powder is obtained and the best aroma is extracted from the coffee beans. 

EASY TO CLEAN

All the De'Longhi automatic espresso machines have been designed to simplify maintenance processes.

The carafe is easy to disassemble and all the components can be safely cleaned in the dishwasher. To extend espresso machine's service life and to get the perfect taste in the cup, we recommend using De'Longhi accessories for cleaning and maintenance.

DECALCIFICATION 

The espresso machine is fitted with automatic decalcification process and it is recommended to use exclusively the De'Longhi EcoDecalk descaler. The EcoDecalk solution is powerful, fast, environmentally friendly and contains only natural ingredients.

For decalcification, add 100 ml of EcoDecalk descaler into the water tank, complete with fresh cold water and follow the simple instructions indicated by the espresso machine. The De'Longhi water filter protects the espresso machine from the formation of limestone deposits and helps remove impurities from water, thus, improving the coffee taste. Under normal conditions of use, the filter can be used for 2 months, then, it should be replaced with a new filter, reducing, thus, the frequency in espresso machine's decalcification.
