The Facette set includes four table knives with a smooth stainless steel blade. The knife blade can be resharpened and the comfortable handle is made of dark ash wood.

Hardness: 55-57 HRC.
The stainless steel used in the manufacture of OPINEL blades is optimized to guarantee both high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical performance.
The blade offers excellent sharpness and high resistance to abrasion (wear), which allows it to withstand the normal contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before requiring resharpening. Stainless steel has the advantage of not needing special maintenance under normal conditions of use, unlike carbon steel. However, it can reach its limits when it is put in prolonged contact with an aggressive environment (acid, salt water, detergent...).

The handle

The treatment applied to this handle makes the wood more water resistant. We recommend washing these knives only by hand.
