Demeyere produces a wide range of frying pans made of 18/10 stainless steel. This ranges from frying pans for amateur cooks to frying pans for professional chefs.
The top range consists in 7-Ply frying pans, where the walls of the frying pan consist in, starting from the inside, an outer layer of 18/10 stainless steel, 2 thicker inner layers of aluminum, which comprise a thick inner median layer of aluminum alloy and 3 layers of Triplinduc® special alloys.
The next type is the 5-Ply frying pan, consisting in, starting from the inside, an outer layer of 18/10 stainless steel, 2 thicker inner layers of aluminum that comprise a thick inner median layer of aluminum alloy and a layer of special magnetic alloy on the outside of the frying pan.
For those who cook on induction hobs, Demeyere has created a special range that uses the ControlInduc technology. Up to 250°C, the frying pan will heat up like any other frying pan. Once the temperature of 250°C is reached, the special multi-layered material of 4.8 mm thick will reduce the energy transfer keeping temperature constant at 245-250°C, regardless of hob intensity.
Another frying pan that you can find in the Demeyere ranges is the 3-ply one, which consists of, starting from the inside, an outer layer of stainless steel, a layer of pure aluminum on the inside, for an optimal distribution of heat and a layer of special magnetic stainless steel on the outside.
