This deep fryer allows you to prepare delicious fresh potatoes with a small amount of oil (14 ml) and frozen potatoes without adding a little oil. With a capacity of 1.5 kg (equivalent to 6 servings) for fresh potatoes and 1.25 kg for frozen potatoes, the FH1163 fryer is the perfect solution for frying, with 80% less fat than traditional fryers.

The Rapid SHS (Surround Heating System) Double Technology

The De'Longhi exclusive technology delivers exceptional performance by surrounding foods in heat for a smooth and faster cooking, as well as for a variety of recipes. MULTIFRY allows you to serve all your favorite dishes, perfectly cooked thanks to the combined action of the two heating elements (upper and lower), plus a fan that evenly distributes heat around the food. The heating elements can be operated separately or simultaneously. One of fryer's fundamental functions is the automatic mixing, thanks to the built-in mixing paddle, but it can also be used without this rotating paddle, offering the possibility of classic cooking.

The large viewing window allows you to check food during the cooking process, while the outer walls remain cool to the touch for extra safety.

The fryer also features a timer, which allows you to set the cooking time for all the recipes. Also, the timer can be detached so you can check the cooking status from anywhere in the house.

How does the Rapid SHS Double Technology work

The system works based on two heating elements that provide heat, for a perfect cooking process. Thus, the food will be crispy on the outside and tender on on the inside, giving you tasty results every time. At the same time, the dishes will be ready in less time, but their tase will be just as delicious. 

The upper heating element (1400 W) works together with the fan and recirculates hot air around food at a high speed, ensuring an even distribution of heated air. Allows cooking with convection and barbecue.

The lower element (200 W), located under the pot, producing heat, shortens cooking time and improves cooking performance for a wide variety of dishes. It can work independently of the upper one for classic cooking.

4 Power settings

MULTIFRY has 4 power settings depending on the food to be cooked (potatoes, pizza, stew/risotto, cakes), select the required power level.

Fast frying in little oil

The fryer will prepare the desired dishes with a wonderful taste, requiring only 14 ml of oil. Thus, with a small amount of oil, you can get dishes for the whole family.

80% less fat

The fryer can fry up to 1.5kg of fresh potatoes with a single tablespoon of oil, compared to 1kg of potatoes prepared in a traditional deep fryer. This represents a reduction in fat intake by up to 80%.

Frozen potatoes

There is no need to add oil when frying frozen potatoes. Put the potatoes in the fryer and, within minutes, they will be perfect for serving.

Reduced cooking time

The innovative Rapid SHS (Surround Heating System) Double cooking system with its two heating elements engulfs food with heat for fast and uniform cooking cooking.

Detachable bowl

The bowl with non-stick ceramic coating and anti-scratch is lightweight, giving you the opportunity to handle it efficiently and simply. You can detach it, thanks to the automatic opening mechanism, thus, mixing or adding food is much faster.

See-through lid

The fryer is equipped with a lid through which you can monitor the stage of preparation, without having to stop the cooking process.
